Inter Milan's transfer stance on Romelu Lukaku made clear amid Chelsea return links

Chelsea are on the hunt for a new striker this summer as Thomas Tuchel looks to mount a serious title challenge next season.

Tuchel was appointed as Blues boss in January and his start to life in charge in west London couldn't have gone better, with the German coach leading the club to their second-ever Champions League triumph in May.

Despite his side showing their immense quality since his appointment, the 'goals for' department still needs to be improved if they are to challenge the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool next season - as they all look to compete for the title once again.

Erling Haaland has been linked with a big-money move to Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund, but the German club are reluctant to sell their prized asset - even more so now that Jadon Sancho is moving to Manchester United.

Another player who has been linked with the Blues is former striker Romelu Lukaku - however, that now looks unlikely, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano tweeted: "Lukaku is so happy at Inter. I think he is staying. The feeling at Inter is that Lukaku's staying.
