Kalidou Koulibaly is already making some fast progress at Stamford Bridge.

Koulibaly, who just transferred to the Blues from Italian club Napoli, has had his goal against Tottenham voted Chelsea's goal of the month for August.

During the August match against the Hotspurs, the defender made his home debut in impressive fashion by volleying Marc Cucurella's corner into the Shed End net.

In a survey of Blues fans on the team's website and the 5th Stand app, Koulibaly's goal garnered more over 50% of the votes, with Raheem Sterling's first Chelsea goal against Leicester last Saturday coming close in second place.

According to another report, strikes from Kai Havertz and Ben Chilwell helped Chelsea upset West Ham United 2-1 in their weekend match.

The Blues will now focus their attention on their next game which is against Dinamo Zagreb in the Uefa Champions League.
