This weekend’s fixtures in the Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship have been postponed as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Following negotiations this morning between numerous stakeholders, including the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and in accordance with the instructions outlined in Operation London Bridge, the decision has been reached.

The Women's Barclay's  Championship were also set to stage an exciting fixture card. Promotion rivals Birmingham City and Crystal Palace were scheduled to meet at St Andrew’s Stadium in the standout game of the weekend while London City Lionesses were paired with Bristol City in another exciting fixture.
