Graham Potter has hailed the start of an ‘exciting’ era at Chelsea under owner Todd Boehly.
The beginning of a "exciting" period at Chelsea under owner Todd Boehly has been lauded by Graham Potter.
One of the most promising young managers in the Premier League, Potter is credited with turning Brighton into one of the most entertaining teams to watch in the English game.
But for a young manager like him, the chance to lead Chelsea does not present itself often, and after the club opted to fire Thomas Tuchel, it took just a few days of negotiations before the Blues announced they had a new coach.
What did he just say?
Potter expressed his excitement for his new team's future on Chelsea's internal media channel, saying: "It's the beginning of a really exciting journey."
‘New ownership, who I was really, really excited with and impressed by, firstly as people and then their vision for the club and what they wanted to do.
‘Of course the history of the club speaks for itself but it’s about trying to create that again in our own way.’
He penned an open letter to Brighton fans, explaining his decision to leave the south coast club for Stamford Bridge.
