Crystal Palace have offered longtime Chelsea target Wilfried Zaha a new contract it has been claimed in the media

Zaha's contract expires at the end of this season, and there has been much speculation regarding his future. He has scored three goals in three games so far this season, giving him a total of 64 Premier League goals.

Palace is aware that they will no longer be able to sell their top player for £80 million, and while they do not want to lose the player, they would rather to receive something than nothing.

This has given rise to rumors that the Blues would make a new approach in the January transfer window knowing they can obtain Zaha for a pittance.

SunSport's Jack Rosser, however, claims that Palace has moved and offered their top player  a contract that he simply cannot refuse

The reports says – The Eagles have held talks with the winger’s camp for over a year as they try to keep their talisman at Selhurst Park.

It is not clear if Zaha will sign the deal because he will be able to speak to foreign clubs about a free transfer from January.

Approaches from Chelsea have been rejected in previous transfer windows – but The Ivory Coast international has never hidden his desire to play Champions League football.
