Manchester City face Chelsea and Manchester United will host Aston Villa in the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The two matches were among the standouts of an intriguing draw for the competition's next round that included seven Premier League matches.

Among the notable matches were Wolves vs. Leeds, Nottingham Forest vs. Tottenham, and Arsenal vs. Brighton. Holders Liverpool were also selected to host the League One Derby.

The other two Premier League games are Everton at Bournemouth and Newcastle hosting Crystal Palace after defeating League Two Tranmere on Wednesday.

West Ham was given a difficult home match against Blackburn as League Two's Crawley was given a trip to Burnley as compensation for eliminating Fulham.

In addition to Southampton hosting Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford taking on Gillingham, League Two's Leicester will take on Newport.

The other matches were Stevenage vs. Charlton, MK Dons vs. Morecambe, and Bristol City vs. Lincoln.
