But Ally McCoist believes he is more likely to go to the World Cup at Palace

He was sent off against Leicester after receiving two yellow cards in the first 28 minutes

'I think he's only going to continue to improve because I think he's an excellent player. Going forward, he's brave, gets himself into scoring positions.'

Gallagher contributed eight goals and three assists in 34 Premier League appearances for Palace last season.

Despite only starting twice, Gallagher has appeared in each of the Blues' four Premier League games so far this year.

He received two yellow cards in the first 28 minutes of their 2-1 victory over Leicester before being dismissed.

According to McCoist, "He's got to worry about himself, his future." "He had a fantastic time at Palace; he had a first-rate experience there." In two minutes, Patrick Vieira would undoubtedly take him back.

Will he be a regular player for Chelsea? Will he do well enough to make the Qatari team? To be completely honest with you, I'm not sure.

I believe that if he plays for Palace, his chances of traveling to Qatar are definitely stronger.. I can see him being a mainstay in that side, whereas I'm not sure he will be at Chelsea.

So it's a big decision he's got to make. From where he was three or four years ago, it's a brilliant decision for him to make because he's just done ever so well with his career in the last couple of seasons.
