Romelu Lukaku issues two-word verdict as Chelsea sweep aside Tottenham

The Belgian was thrilled with Chelsea’s success against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku issued a two-word verdict after the Blues batted aside London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Despite a stuttering start in north London with a somewhat underwhelming first-half performance, the reigning European champions soon clicked into gear after the break..

Thomas Tuchel introduced N'Golo Kante and that produced instant dividends for Chelsea as Thiago Silva nodded in the opener.

Kante himself then got in on the act with a deflected drive before Antonio Rudiger polished off proceedings with a late strike.

Lukaku did not quite manage to find the net and extend his positive start to life back at Chelsea but he appeared thrilled nonetheless with the result against Spurs

The Belgian will certainly be keen to find the net once again, with Chelsea facing a busy few weeks in all competitions.
