That’s annoying' - Chelsea fans frustrated as young star left out of squad for Arsenal fixture

Broja has impressed when given the chance this summer but has been left out of the Blues' squad for their pre-season clash with Arsenal

Chelsea are in the midst of a summer-long search for a world-class striker that can fire them to the Premier League title next season.

After signing for the Blues last summer, German frontman Timo Werner struggled to adjust to the English top-flight, netting just six times in the league despite accumulating a whopping 13.43xG (expected goals).

Therefore, head coach Thomas Tuchel has made it his summer goal to sign a clinical centre-forward, with the likes of Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland and Inter Milan's Romelu Lukaku both reportedly targeted in recent weeks.

The west London club have already offloaded French international Olivier Giroud and with English forward Tammy Abraham seemingly surplus to requirements, Chelsea gave Albanian youngster Armando Broja a chance to impress - something he grabbed with both hands against Championship side Bournemouth on Tuesday.
